At Brown and Caldwell, it's our goal to have zero safety incidents on each and every project. This commitment to health and safety reduces project costs, keeps the project schedule on track and, most importantly, protects our employees, clients, subcontractors and the public. BC's health and safety program includes job-specific safety training, site-specific Safety Plans to identify and reduce potential hazards, and numerous resources and activities designed to increase awareness and responsibility for safety companywide. Our Be SHARP (Safety Health Awareness and Responsibility Partnership) program focuses on safety behavior and empowerment of employees to recognize, report and correct unsafe acts and/or conditions. As a result, BC's safety incidents numbers are significantly better than the industry at large.
